Amsterdam Splendor
  SPLENDOR FUN FACTS
Carnival Splendor Fun Facts DESIGN
The central idea of "splendid things" begins in the Atrium with rich, elegant materials mixed with stainless steel and stylized wood laminates for a striking overall effect. This celebration of all that is magnificent, lustrous and elegant continues throughout all of the ship's public spaces.

Carnival Splendor Fun Facts SHIP FEATURES
Weighing in at 113,300 tons, and featuring a total guest capacity of 3,006, the Carnival Splendor will introduce a host of new features, including: staterooms with flat screen TVs, a spectacular 21,000 sq foot, two-level spa and gym facility, 5,500-square-foot children’s playroom and a mid-ship pool covered with a two-deck-high Sliding Sky Dome.

Carnival Splendor Fun Facts THE ARCHITECT
“When I thought about the name of this ship, it brought to mind all the splendid things there are in the world,” said Joe Farcus, Carnival’s ship architect. “The central idea that ties the rooms together is the concept of fine, luxurious, sumptuous elegance. So we used elements like pearls, gold leaf and wood grains to give the ship a feeling of richness.”

Carnival Splendor Fun Facts

Central Lido Pool Deck: A large open glass-walled, two-deck-high area that includes Carnival's SeaSide Theater, two bars, Splendido poolside eatery, Pinnacle Supper Club and more.

Outdoor Aft Deck: The outdoor aft deck area will pay homage to the great liners of the past and house Indian Tandoori and New York-style deli seving stations.

Royal Flush Casino: Royal flush hands are set along the walls, with the characters on the cards emerging from the wall like a sculpture. The ceiling is decorated with card images that change into different hands.

Red Carpet Dance Club: Every guest is a celebrity as they walk the VIP line past a series of mannequins waiting on the other side of the velvet rope to enter.

El Morocco Bar: Styled after the famous 1930s New York club of the same name, banquettes are covered in zebra-patterned leather, with palm trees and lanterns adorning the walls, which feature murals of Moroccan scenes.
