Our Review of Crystal Cruises:

Crystal Cruises deserves its accolades as top cruise line in its category, for the past 10 years, in the Travel and Leisure & Conde Nast polls. One of our agents recently cruised on the Crystal Serenity. Below is her review:

 It is "Crystal clear", as they say, that their service, food, entertainment, cabins are simply the best. Sophisticated without being snobbish, thoughtful but not over obtrusive, the Crystal Serenity was a delight in every way. European dining room staff and an Austrian chef , not to mention the alternative Asian cuisine restaurant with a complete sushi bar, kept the caviar and lobster, shrimp and brie coming and coming !! The speakers were top notch; lessons in conversational Spanish were free, as were Yamaha lessons. The popular Crystal Visions Enrichment Program & Creative Learning Institute are offered  on both the Crystal Serenity and the Crystal Symphony and include a noted destination expert who lectures on the regions visited during the cruise, plus at least one other respected enrichment speaker who shares insights into his or her particular world. Crystal Cruises Creative Learning Institute offers a variety of interactive classes in the fields of Arts & Entertainment, Business & Technology, Lifestyle, Wellness and Wine & Food. 

You can also expand your interests in subjects such as Bridge and dance, and participate in the acclaimed Computer University@Sea where guests learn about the fascinating world of computers in a relaxed environment. On selected cruises there is also instruction in arts and crafts, and in golf by a PGA pro.

Another Crystal Cruises touch we enjoyed, a barbershop quartet that serenaded around the ship, plus a wandering trio of a musicians strolled from table to table during evening meals.

No announcements (except for the fire drill), no hassle, no lines .. they set the gold standard !!
